Pre-commitment & deposit caps

tradiae provides pre-commitment deposit-limit controls so Customers can set, lower, raise or remove a cap on how much can be deposited over a chosen period. Every Customer is invited to set a limit at registration, and the limit can be adjusted at any time from inside the Account.
What a deposit limit actually does
A deposit limit caps the amount you can deposit across a chosen window: daily, weekly or monthly. Once the cap is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the window resets. The cap applies across every deposit method combined.
Setting your limit
- From the menu, open Account > Deposit limits.
- Select the window: daily, weekly or monthly.
- Enter the maximum amount you want to be able to deposit over that window.
- Confirm. Decreases take effect immediately; increases enter a seven-day cool-off.
The seven-day cool-off on increases
If you raise your limit, the new cap is not applied for seven days. After that window we send a reminder of your previous limit and ask you to re-confirm the new figure. If you do not confirm it, your previous limit remains in force. The cool-off is applied in line with the National Consumer Protection Framework and is specifically designed to prevent impulsive upward changes.
Removing a deposit limit
Removing a deposit limit is treated as an increase and is subject to the seven-day cool-off. We will send a confirmation email once the removal takes effect. You can set a new limit at any time.
Default single-transaction maximum
Where you have not set a personal limit, a default operator maximum of $5,000 per transaction applies. This is not a pre-commitment limit. It is an operational ceiling on a single deposit.
Loss, spend and time controls
Alongside a deposit limit, you can also set:
- A net-loss cap restricting how much you can lose over a period.
- A session-time reminder that surfaces after a set number of minutes logged in.
- A 24-hour, 7-day, 30-day or 90-day take-a-break.
If you would rather not set a limit at registration
You can proceed without setting a personal deposit limit. If you do so, we may ask you to confirm that choice on a separate screen. A deposit limit can be added at any time from inside the Account. We strongly recommend using one as part of your wagering routine.
